Project Overview:
Public Websites is dedicated to delivering innovative and differentiated experiences to Northern Trusts clients and employees. We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to assist in building end-to-end solutions for the Public Websites.

Contractor s Role: This role will drive the technical implementation and future enhancement of NorthernTrust.com and Public Websites. This position will entail collaborating with architects to deliver solutions, software development, supporting the developers, and moving development through the Agile delivery phases. This role is primarily hands-on, with a strong emphasis on writing, reviewing, and maintaining production code.

Experience Level: Level 3

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software engineering lifecycle & best practices
• Experience with Java, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
• Experience with API integration & server/client interaction
• Deep expertise in at least one of these areas, with solid skills in several others
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience working in teams and sharing knowledge
• Familiarity with keeping code and dependencies up to date
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

Must have skills :

• Overall - 8+ years
• Relevant - 5+ years on must have skills
• Ability to develop based on technical architecture design/development and provide expertise to our enterprise/commercial clients.
• Strong understanding of software engineering lifecycle & best practices
• Extensive experience with React, Java (Spring), Typescript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with API integration & server/client interaction
• Familiarity/Experience with Content Management Systems like Adobe Experience Manager
• Experience implementing responsive user-interfaces
• Understanding of how to build and test UIs meeting WCAG specs
• Keen eye for detail - experience working with design teams to accurately implement UIs from high-fidelity comps
• Help develop estimates for projects
• Implement security configuration using groups, roles and permissions.
• Experience with CI/CD, build pipeline automation
• Participate in Agile development processes and follow best practices for Source Control
• Desire to learn, grow, and share their skills
