Fullstack Java Engineer (Middle Level)

About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and deploy an end-to-end Video Analytics Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Spring Boot, React, Maps and Kubernetes (K8s). He/she will lead the implementation of an advanced investigation platform that combines AI-powered video analytics, case management, evidence management, geospatial tracking, and intelligent investigation workflows.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability system architecture.
• Translate business and operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Define application, database, integration, and deployment architectures.

Full Stack Development

• Develop investigator-facing web applications and dashboards.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design and implement case management, evidence management, and reporting modules.
• Ensure responsive, intuitive, and user-centric user interfaces.

Video Analytics & AI Integration

• Integrate AI models e.g. Person Detection & Tracking
• Implement AI-powered search and investigation capabilities.
• Develop AI assistant features for investigative queries, evidence discovery, and report generation.

GIS & Track-and-Trace

• Develop map-based visualization and movement tracking functions.
• Implement subject journey reconstruction and camera hit correlation.
• Support geospatial analytics, hotspot visualization, and timeline replay.

System Integration

• Integrate with Video Management Systems (VMS) such as Milestone, Hanwha, Genetec, Hikvision, Dahua
• Integrate camera networks, external databases, and enterprise systems.
• Support real-time event ingestion and evidence retrieval.

Data & Search Platform

• Design and optimize databases, search engines, and evidence repositories.
• Implement metadata indexing and fast retrieval mechanisms.
• Manage storage solutions for video, image, and investigation data.

Security & Compliance

• Implement RBAC, audit logging, and evidence chain-of-custody controls.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and government security standards.
• Apply encryption and secure API development best practices.

DevOps & Deployment

• Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Support cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped deployments.
• Monitor performance, scalability, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, React.js, Kubernetes (K8s), and Map/GIS technologies.
• Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
