Fullstack Mobile App Engineer – Native iOS

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Mobile App Engineer with strong native iOS expertise to build a next-generation cryptocurrency trading application from the ground up.

This role offers significant technical ownership, including mobile architecture, real-time trading functionality, application security, and the complete Apple App Store release lifecycle. You will work closely with the founders and engineering team to deliver a high-performance mobile trading experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch the company's first native iOS trading application.
• Establish scalable mobile architecture and engineering best practices.
• Build gesture-driven interfaces, interactive charts, and responsive trading experiences.
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams for real-time market data.
• Implement secure wallet integrations, biometric authentication, transaction signing, and key storage.
• Collaborate with founders and front-end engineers to maintain consistency across web and mobile.
• Manage provisioning, testing, deployment, and App Store releases.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers as the mobile engineering team grows.

Required Qualifications

• 3–16 years of iOS engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS development.
• Demonstrated experience building an iOS application from scratch and successfully shipping it through the Apple App Store.
• Ability to design maintainable, scalable codebases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to code quality, security, and reliability.
• Genuine interest in cryptocurrency, trading, or financial markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building fintech, cryptocurrency, or trading applications.
• Familiarity with WebSockets, real-time data systems, and live market feeds.
• Experience with mobile wallets and secure transaction handling.
• A public GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing iOS projects.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary of $185,000–$300,000.
• Strong equity participation.
• Cash bonuses.
• Visa transfer options may be available for eligible candidates, subject to sponsorship requirements.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site position in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Candidates must be able to work in person five days per week.
