Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Power BI Developer to own BI solutions end-to-end, from data extraction and SQL development to data modelling, Power Query, DAX, report development, deployment, and Power BI Service administration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop end-to-end Business Intelligence and Power BI solutions.
• Build reporting-ready SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and data structures from ERP and transactional data sources.
• Develop optimised T-SQL queries, troubleshoot performance issues, and tune queries.
• Design and implement dimensional data models, including star schemas, fact tables, dimensions, fact grain, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
• Build and maintain high-quality Power BI semantic models.
• Develop complex data transformations using Power Query / M.
• Write advanced DAX measures and calculations, including time intelligence and performance-optimised calculations.
• Work with calculation groups and advanced DAX techniques to improve model flexibility and maintainability.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Manage the complete Power BI development lifecycle from data preparation through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Administer Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines, gateways, refresh schedules, incremental refresh, security, and access management.
• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) and appropriate access controls.
• Establish development standards, naming conventions, documentation, performance guidelines, and reusable BI patterns.
• Follow strong source control and release management practices using Git, Power BI Projects (PBIP), or equivalent tools.
• Troubleshoot Power BI model, report, refresh, gateway, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Power BI developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Must-Have Skills :

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence / Power BI Development.

• Strong experience developing complete end-to-end Power BI solutions.

• Advanced T-SQL skills, including:

• Complex queries

• Views

• Stored procedures

• Query optimisation and tuning

• Reporting-ready tables

• ERP / transactional data

• Strong understanding of dimensional data modelling, including:

• Star schema

• Fact and dimension tables

• Fact grain

• Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)

• Strong experience building Power BI semantic models.

• Advanced Power Query / M experience.

• Advanced DAX skills, including:

• Time intelligence

• Complex measures

• Calculation groups

• Performance optimization

• Strong Power BI report and dashboard design skills with a focus on usability and user experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, including:

• Workspaces

• Apps

• Deployment pipelines

• On-premises data gateways

• Scheduled refresh

• Incremental refresh

• Row-Level Security (RLS)

• Access management

• Experience with Git, Power BI Projects (PBIP), or equivalent source-control/release-management practices.

• Strong understanding of BI development, deployment, and production support processes.

• Fabric Warehouse

• Dataflows Gen2

• Pipelines

• Direct Lake

• Experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit.

• Knowledge of Python or PySpark for data preparation and transformation.

• Experience working with ERP data, particularly:

• Experience establishing BI development standards and mentoring technical teams.
