Location: Kraków (hybrid, 2 office visits/week)

What You’ll Do

• Work within a team of 4–6 people with a dedicated product owner (teams may be co-located or geographically dispersed)
• Break down business requirements into user stories and deliver them iteratively to production
• Provide product support as part of the team’s responsibility ("the team builds it, the team supports it")
• Identify technical debt and ensure a balanced prioritization between addressing tech debt and delivering new functionality
• Design solutions for new items while ensuring compliance with technology guidelines and constraints
• Collaborate through pairing with other team members

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of development experience
• Deep understanding of software development concepts (SOLID, Clean Code, DDD, BDD)
• Demonstrated experience in Python + basic Java
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience in machine learning, NLP, AI, or Data Science (advantageous)
• Ability to teach and collaborate with engineers to design new systems and solutions
• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• Prior experience with event streaming technology
• Prior experience with microservices
