Duties

• Provide expert hair styling, coloring, hair cuts and hair care treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs and preference
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations
• Engage in proactive retail sales by upselling hair products, retail items, and additional services to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Communicate clearly with clients about service options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations to foster trust and loyalty
• Have the ability to work your own schedule, and schedule your own clientele as well as building new clientele in our busy salon

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in hairstyling, coloring, and customer service
• Skilled in various hair techniques including balayage or color theory-based coloring methods
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to cosmetology tools like scissors, razors, brushes, and nail care implements
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients to understand their needs and deliver personalized solutions
• Experience working with retail sales strategies including upselling products like hair care items or makeup accessories
• Certification or licensing in cosmetology or barbering preferred; ongoing education in advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions or advanced color application is a plus

Pay: $1.00 - $100,000.00 per year
