Job Description

Location: Mahon Point

Reports to: Management Team

Job Summary: To assist management in the smooth running of the store, leading sales and service within the store. The sales team leader is responsible for assisting in managing store operations, opening & closing the store, till exception functions (excluding employee discount) and cash office management.

2) Essential Criteria:

· At least 1 years experience in a fast paced Retail environment

· A minimum of Leaving Certificate or equivalent

· Fluent in English

Job Tasks & Activities:

Customer Commitment:

· Promote and encourage sports sales team members to provide exceptional customer service and sales techniques

· Display and demonstrate excellent product knowledge to customers

· Analyse the daily store plans provide guidance and support to the store team

Communication:

· Liaise with fellow management team, staff and customers in a professional and friendly manner

· Follow daily direction provided by the manager in their absence and lead the team to carry out daily activities

· Communicate store sales targets with sales team members

Team Motivator:

· Motivate the team members to demonstrate the sales circle

· Encourage staff to drive sales performance

· Use of own initiative to be creative towards company expectations

Planning and Organising:

· Open and close the store

· Plan and organise daily tasks

· EPOS and daily cash office duties

· Delegate tasks to sales team members

· Control of deliveries and stockloss

· Implementation of merchandising standards

· Correct pricing of stock and checking same

· Maintaining fire, health and safety standards

· Ensure all team members adhere to Lifestyle Sports policies and procedures
