Fully Qualified Motor Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs using hand tools and power tools.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical problems effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.

Must have experience with the following (in commercial vehicles):

• Electrics
• Servicing
• Timing Belts
• Fault Finding
• Quality Checks
• Snagging
• Tow Bars
• Wheels / Bars / Suspension
• Experience with heating systems in camper vans an advantage

Salary dependent on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £16.00 per hour
