Insurance Coverage Attorney – Fully Remote, Barred in CA (Located anywhere in the US)

Compensation: $200k - $320k Base + Bonus

Billable Hours: 1,800–2,000 annually, with flexibility

A well-established firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated insurance coverage and bad faith matters with a firm that handles complex, high-value litigation for major insurance carriers.

The firm is part of a select group of 19 Nationwide firms recognized for handling insurance bad faith defense matters , giving attorneys exposure to significant and sophisticated cases across the insurance industry.

What You’ll Do

• Handle insurance coverage and bad faith defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research, discovery, depositions, and case strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• California Bar admission in good standing
• Strong experience in insurance coverage or Insurance Defense
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $320,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
