DJ Workshop Event Instructor – Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic DJ Workshop Instructor to lead a hands-on, high-energy event that introduces participants to the world of DJing! Whether it’s blending beats, mastering gear, or understanding music flow, you’ll be the go-to expert guiding attendees through the art and craft of live DJ performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging sessions on DJ fundamentals: mixing, beatmatching, cueing, and transitions.
• Demonstrate DJ gear and software: CDJs, controllers, turntables, Serato, Rekordbox, etc.
• Support hands-on practice with live demos and one-on-one guidance.
• Foster a fun, inclusive environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
• Adapt to different skill levels, from total beginners to hobbyists.
• Keep the energy up! This is an interactive event, not a lecture.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced DJ with a strong command of live mixing and digital tools.
• Confident speaker and engaging presenter in group settings.
• Friendly, approachable, and passionate about teaching music.
• Bonus: Experience with event coordination or music production.

Workshop Format:

• Audience: Teens, adults, or mixed-level music lovers.
• Setting: Music festival, community event, school, or private function.
• Duration: 1–3 hours (depending on format).
• Gear provided or BYO setup depending on event.
