Function bar Staff

Job purpose-

To provide a friendly, professional and efficient bar service during functions and events at Canmore Golf Club, ensuring member and guests receive a high standard of serivce and have a n enjoyable experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities-

• Service alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide efficient bar service during function, private events and club occasions.
• Take payments accurately using the club's till/payment system.
• Maintain and clean, tidy and well-presented bar and surrounding areas.
• Re-stock drinks, glasses and other bar supplies as required.
• Prepare the bar before functions and clean and close down the bar afterwards.
• Ensure tables, glasses and bar areas are kept clean throughout the event.
• Provide good customer service and deal with queries or requests politely.
• Comply with all licensing, health and safety and food hygiene requirements applicable to the role.
• Work part of a team.
• Carry out other reasonable duties associated with the smooth running of functions and the clubhouse.

• Previous experience is a must.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, approachable and reliable.
• Able to to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to remain calm and professional during a busy function.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling cash and card payments.
• Willingness to work evenings at weekends.

Hours

Hours will vary depending on the club's function and event schedule. The role will primarily Evening at weekend work, with shifts arranged in advanced where possible.

Pay: £12.71-£12.75 per hour
