Functional Analyst

LMW HR Group, on behalf of a leading multinational IT company, is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join their team in a banking sector project.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, QA specialists, and project managers, to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements. You will play a key role in analyzing business processes, translating business needs into functional specifications, and ensuring that systems and applications align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in functional analysis within the banking sector and/or Business Process Management (BPM) systems, preferably involving lending automation solutions. Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills are essential to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams and support the successful delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Document functional requirements, business processes, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain business process models using appropriate modeling techniques and tools, including BPMN.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for development teams.
• Work closely with developers, QA specialists, and project managers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
• Support the testing and validation of delivered solutions to ensure compliance with business requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the resolution of functional issues and support the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years functional analyst experience in Banking Sector and/or Business Process Management systems preferably in lending automation system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital for documenting requirements, conveying information to stakeholders, and facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Experience in the analysis  and documentation of  functional requirements, including business processes, user stories, and use cases.
• Experience in using business process modeling techniques and tools, such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Experience in data analysis techniques and tools can be valuable, especially.
• University Degree or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Good interpersonal skills.
