Functional Analyst - SimCorp Dimension

We’re looking for an experienced Functional Analyst with strong SimCorp Dimension expertise to strengthen the Product team of a financial institution. You will translate business needs into effective solutions for a business-critical application supporting Portfolio Management, Dealing, Risk, Collateral, Middle Office and Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements .
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and technical solution designs.
• Configure, develop and maintain solutions within and around SimCorp Dimension.
• Analyse requested application changes and assess possible solutions and impacts.
• Coordinate and support testing, releases and implementations.
• Assist business users during implementation and subsequent adoption.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to application stability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business users, technical colleagues and SimCorp.
• Build and share in-depth SimCorp Dimension expertise within the team.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst working with SimCorp Dimension.
• Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following modules: Portfolio Administration Manager, Risk Manager (VaR), Collateral Manager, Order Manager or Asset Manager .
• Experience across multiple SimCorp Dimension modules is a strong advantage.
• Able to translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical solutions.
• Experience with or knowledge of Perl, SQL, XML, UAC/DevOps, Jira and Subversion .
• Sound understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and investment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent Dutch is mandatory.
