Functional Analyst - Supply Chain / ERP / Logistics

Meritis is recruiting a Functional Analyst – Supply Chain / ERP for an assignment with a major player in Belgian retail, as part of its Supply Chain Transformation Program.

Mission context

You will join the client's Supply Chain Transformation Program, reporting to the Program Manager. Your role: analyze business processes, gather requirements and translate them into functional designs for the ERP (SAP) and logistics systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and other analysts to ensure smooth integration and delivery of end-to-end Supply Chain solutions.

Assignment conditions

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months, with possible extension depending on project evolution

Location: Kobbegem (2 days on-site / 3 days remote)

Languages required: fluent English, plus a good level in French and/or Dutch (one fluent, the other at least passive)

Profile sought

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent through experience

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in Supply Chain or ERP environments
• Proven experience with end-to-end Supply Chain processes (procurement, warehousing, inventory, order management, logistics)
• Experience participating in ERP or logistics system implementation/integration projects
• Understanding of ERP architecture (SAP ECC or S/4HANA) and interface concepts (IDocs, APIs, flat files...)
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and functional specification writing
• Coordination of functional testing (SIT, UAT)

Nice to have:

• Functional knowledge of SAP modules (MM, WM, EWM, SD, PP)
• Experience with logistics systems (WMS, TMS, OMS)
• Basic SQL skills, exposure to reporting tools (Power BI)
• Experience in workshop facilitation and multi-site Supply Chain contexts

Soft skills: strong analytical skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, autonomy, ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
