Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, and exceptional English communication skills. The candidate will work closely with clients to understand business processes, provide functional support, and help implement business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client business requirements and map them to functional solutions.
• Assist in ERP implementation, configuration, testing, and user training.
• Analyze accounting and business processes to recommend improvements.
• Provide support and guidance to users on finance and accounting-related modules.
• Prepare functional requirement documents, process flows, and user manuals.
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate with technical teams for requirement clarification and issue resolution.
• Deliver product demonstrations and end-user training sessions.
• Maintain project documentation and status reports.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of:

• Accounting Principles

• Journal Entries

• Ledger Management

• Financial Statements

• GST & Basic Taxation Concepts

• Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime is mandatory.

• Basic understanding of ERP systems and business processes.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and documentation skills.
