Functional Consultant

Role Description The Oracle EPM Functional Consultant role is a contract, on-site position based in Singapore. The consultant will work closely with financial institution clients to analyze business requirements and design Oracle EPM solutions that support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes. Daily responsibilities include gathering and documenting functional requirements, configuring Oracle EPM modules, preparing functional specifications, and supporting system testing and user acceptance. The role also involves collaborating with technical teams for integrations, troubleshooting functional issues, and providing end-user training and ongoing support. The consultant is expected to contribute to project planning, ensure alignment with regulatory and risk management needs, and help deliver solutions within scope, time, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial, risk, and regulatory requirements and translate them into Oracle EPM functional designs.
• Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with business users, technology teams, and project managers.
• Solid understanding of Business Process design and optimization, particularly in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation workflows.
• Proven Consulting experience in delivering technology-enabled solutions for financial institutions, preferably involving Oracle EPM or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Finance concepts, including financial statements, risk management, and regulatory reporting, to ensure solution relevance and accuracy.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or on-premise (e.g., Planning, FCCS, PBCS, Hyperion) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications in Oracle EPM are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore, adapt to dynamic project environments, and collaborate with a diverse, innovation-driven team.
