About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support, implement, configure, and continuously improve our Business Central ERP system.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, along with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The candidate will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, and other business teams to understand requirements and provide effective ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Understand business requirements and translate them into functional ERP solutions.

• Work closely with Finance, Accounts, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, and other departments.

• Configure and support Business Central modules and processes.

• Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes, including:

• General Ledger

• Accounts Receivable

• Accounts Payable

• Customer/Vendor Ledger

• Bank Reconciliation

• Fixed Assets

• Tax/GST

• Payment and collection processes

• Financial reporting

• Support Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Warehouse, and Manufacturing processes as required.

• Analyse business issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with technical teams/developers for resolution.

• Prepare functional requirement documents, process documents, test scenarios, and user documentation.

• Perform functional testing and support UAT activities.

• Validate customizations and ensure that the developed solution meets business requirements.

• Support ERP upgrades, new functionality implementation, and process improvements.

• Provide user training and prepare training materials/SOPs.

• Monitor ERP issues and ensure timely resolution as per business priority.

• Maintain proper documentation of configuration, changes, and functional processes.

• Support audit and compliance requirements related to ERP systems.

• Participate in ERP implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 34 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV.
• Good functional knowledge of Finance & Accounting.
• Hands-on experience in Business Central functional configuration and support.
• Understanding of Business Central Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Warehouse processes.
• Good understanding of GST and Indian taxation processes is preferred.
• Experience in requirement gathering and preparing functional specifications.
• Good knowledge of testing, UAT, issue tracking, and change management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and recommend practical ERP solutions.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be a business-process-oriented ERP professional who can independently understand user requirements, analyse Business Central processes, coordinate with technical teams, and provide functional solutions.

A finance background will be preferred, particularly candidates who have hands-on experience with Finance/Accounting processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
