We are hiring for the Functional Consultant (Core Bankng)

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Functional Consultants / Functional Business Analysts with strong Core Banking domain expertise to support banking transformation and implementation projects.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional documentation, product configuration, customer discussions, product walkthroughs, and user training. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Core Banking products and banking accounting concepts.

Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE or Intellect Core Banking will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct discussions and workshops with customers and business users to understand and analyze business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate functional requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD/functional specifications, process flows, use cases, business rules, and other functional documents.
• Perform As-Is / To-Be process analysis and gap analysis.
• Configure Core Banking product parameters based on approved business requirements.
• Validate system configuration and ensure it supports the required business processes.
• Conduct product walkthroughs and functional demonstrations for customers and business users.
• Facilitate user training activities, including preparation of training material and demonstrations.
• Work closely with technical and QA teams to explain functional requirements and provide clarifications.
• Review test scenarios and test cases to ensure adequate functional coverage.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, and resolution of functional issues.
• Perform impact analysis for change requests and enhancements.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve functional gaps and clarify requirements.
• Support implementation, migration, rollout, and post-production activities as required.

The candidate should have experience in multiple Core Banking modules, preferably including:

• Core Banking
• CASA Current Account / Savings Account
• Term Deposits
• Local Payments
• Cross-Border Payments
• Virtual Account Management
• Loans / Lending
• Trade Finance

Experience: 8-12 Years

Location: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai

NP - Immediate Joiner Preferred
