Functional ECU & Smart Security Design Engineer

Location: Saline, MI 48176

Work Mode: Onsite

Employment Type: Contract (12 Months)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

We are looking for an experienced Functional ECU & Smart Security Design Engineer to support the development of advanced vehicle electronic systems. This role will focus on ECU application engineering, smart security systems, automotive electrical design, supplier management, and vehicle electronics integration.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and integrate Functional ECUs including:

• Power Slide Door ECU
• Power Tailgate ECU
• Seat ECU
• Window ECU
• Sunroof ECU

✅ Support Smart Security systems including:

• Smart ECU
• Immobilizer Systems
• Antennas
• Vehicle Security Components

✅ Create engineering specifications and design documentation

✅ Manage supplier performance, schedules, and quality

✅ Support engineering changes and wiring specifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of Electrical Design Engineering experience
• Experience with automotive electronics and vehicle development
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CATIA experience
• Smart Security systems experience
• Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience
