Functional Safety Application Engineer

Mission Support the development, integration, and validation of automotive applications with a focus on functional safety, ensuring that safety-related functionalities meet technical requirements and applicable industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and verification of functional safety requirements.
• Develop, configure, and validate safety-related automotive applications.
• Perform functional testing and simulation activities to assess system behavior.
• Analyze technical issues and support the identification of safety-related risks.
• Collaborate with system, software, and testing teams to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and support functional safety validation activities.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in functional safety and automotive application development or testing.
• Knowledge of system validation, simulation, and testing methodologies.

Professional Skills

• Familiarity with ISO 26262 and automotive functional safety principles.
• Understanding of safety requirements and ASIL concepts.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good command of technical English and attention to detail.
