Functional System Validation Engineer

Functional System Validation Engineer for SoC products with special exposure to Mixed-Signal Blocks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug test firmware from scratch using Embedded C in Eclipse-based IDEs.
• Create and execute Python-based automated test scripts to control and manage test and measurement instruments.
• Build and execute functional validation tests in an automated environment during
• Post-Silicon Validation: conduct comprehensive testing on the developed silicon.
• Perform validation using lab equipment such as SMUs, MSOs, DMMs, and AFGs.
• Work on debugging and root-cause analysis of validation issues on digital and analog design blocks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics Engineering
• 0-2 years of Validation engineering experience in Validation or Application or Driver development of Digital/Mixed signal SoC products.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of embedded C
• Understanding of C/C++ programming
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in firmware development from scratch and automation using C, Python for application level use cases.
• Understanding on communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN-FD, LIN etc
• Hands-on experience in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Good to have: Good understanding on Cortex M series microcontrollers
• Good to have: any exposure to any ATE or similar systems.
