The Role

Blupace is hiring for Functional Tester – WMS (C++ / Oracle Environment)

Functional Tester to support a legacy Warehouse Management System (WMS) with no vendor support. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and hands-on validation of backend data in an Oracle environment.

Where you’ll be working:

• It is a Hybrid mode - Dortmund Region (Germany) based opportunity,
• This will start as a 2 month position but has potential to grow considering the current plan for product lifecycle is 1-3 more years at atleast.
• Contract opportunity .
• No sponsorship provided for the role, only local and one with relevant RTW are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Functional Owner to understand business workflows and validate system behavior
• Capture, document, and execute test cases covering end-to-end WMS processes
• Perform data validation and verification by accessing Oracle database tables
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects
• Validate system behavior during Windows Server upgrade (2016 → 2019) across multiple sites
• Support testing cycles

Required Skills:

• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking tools
• Strong experience in Functional Testing (manual testing preferred)
• Basic working knowledge of C++-based applications (read/understand logic)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (querying tables, data validation)

Good to Have :

• Experience with legacy WMS systems
• Familiarity with server upgrade testing scenarios
• Understanding of supply chain/logistics processes
