Functional Tester – SFMC

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with project teams to understand testing requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Review application architecture and understand system functionality before testing.
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation based on project requirements.
• Perform manual functional testing to verify application behavior and business requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects and bugs.
• Investigate reported issues and coordinate with relevant teams to support troubleshooting and resolution.
• Estimate testing effort and communicate testing progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
• Use JIRA and test management tools to manage test cases, defects, and testing activities.
• Support regression testing and other testing activities when required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in functional or manual testing.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or other marketing automation platforms.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and SQL.
• Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and managing defects throughout the testing process.
• Familiarity with JIRA and test management tools.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and manage testing activities according to project timelines.
