Functions Chef Part-time

About the role

Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, this role is primarily focused on function and event catering, with the opportunity to support broader food service operations as required. Hours will generally range from 15 to 30 hours per week, depending on Club events and catering requirements. Evening and weekend work will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality food for functions, tournaments and special events.
• Assist with menu planning and event catering requirements.
• Maintain consistently high food quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with ordering, stock control and minimising food waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure successful event delivery.

About you

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a chef, cook or catering professional.
• Experience in functions, events, catering or hospitality environments.
• Strong food safety and kitchen hygiene knowledge.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A positive, reliable and team-focused approach.
