Fund Accounting Manager

A top-tier global fund administrator serving complex private equity fund structures for institutional clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of fund accountants and supervisors to meet departmental and firm-wide goals
• Oversee periodic NAV calculations for private equity funds, including financial statements, trial balance review, and partner/shareholder allocations
• Review calculation of fund-level fees — management, admin, carried interest, and other expenses
• Review accounting work, capital events, investor statements, and client deliverables prepared by staff
• Ensure all documentation and processes meet internal policy and external/regulatory standards
• Act as primary client liaison for fund accounting matters, ensuring timely, accurate responses to inquiries
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process end to end

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 4+ years managing a team of fund accountants, senior accountants, and/or supervisors
• 3–5+ years of fund accounting experience within private equity, at a fund, fund administrator, or comparable financial institution
• Proven experience reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
• Advanced Excel/Word proficiency; experience with a leading PE fund accounting platform strongly preferred
