Fund Accounting (Private Equity)

Set-up: Full onsite for the first 3 months. Will transition to hybrid after 3 months (1 day wfh)

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Schedule: Morning, Mid, Night shifts (according to preference)

Location: BGC, Taguig

This role combines operational leadership, client management, and technical expertise across private equity, private credit, and real estate funds. You will oversee NAV production, manage team performance, ensure service excellence, and serve as a key escalation point for clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Associates and Senior Associates within the Private Markets Fund Accounting team.
• Oversee end-to-end NAV accounting, financial reporting, and client deliverables.
• Drive operational excellence, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
• Act as the primary escalation point for client, audit, and operational matters.
• Develop and mentor team members through coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on complex fund accounting and reporting matters.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

• 7+ year's experience in Private Markets, Private Equity and Bank Loans / Private Market Loans

• Must have actual people-management experience.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and employee performance.

• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate fund structures
  • LP/GP arrangements
  • Capital calls and distributions
  • Waterfall calculations and allocations
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Fund accounting controls and operational risk management

• Experience with Geneva, Investran, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
