Fund Accounting Supervisor / Manager

About the role

The Fund Accounting Supervisor / Manager is responsible for overseeing accurate and timely fund accounting activities, financial reporting, and operational controls. The role provides leadership to the fund accounting team, ensures compliance with accounting standards and client requirements, and supports process improvement and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily fund accounting, NAV calculation, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
• Review and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of fund accounting outputs.
• Lead and develop the fund accounting team, including workload allocation, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage escalations, investigate discrepancies, and drive timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders on reporting, audit, and operational matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

About you

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of NAV, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Experience supervising or managing a fund accounting team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
