About The Department

• The Global Fund Administration & Oversight team helps safeguard the integrity of Franklin Templeton funds through effective oversight, innovation, execution, and risk management. The team oversees third-party administrators, fund accounting, financial reporting, regulatory filings, governance activities, and key product events such as fund launches, mergers, and liquidations. Working closely with portfolio managers, legal, compliance, marketing, and other partners, the team delivers comprehensive oversight and continuous operational improvement.

How You Will Add Value? Core Responsibilities

• You will oversee third-party administrator performance and reporting quality.
• You will review financial statements and regulatory filings.
• You will ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• You will analyze fund oversight reports.
• You will coordinate reporting across stakeholders and deadlines.

Strategic Responsibilities

• You will support governance and oversight activities.
• You will contribute to Risk and Control Self-Assessment activities.
• You will research new accounting standards and requirements.
• You will assist with disclosure preparation.
• You will support fund audits and strategic initiatives.

Team & Collaboration

• You will identify and implement process improvements.
• You will support product launches and regulatory projects.
• You will deliver responsive client service and stakeholder support.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role? Experience, Education & Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• 4-7 years of relevant fund administration, accounting, or oversight experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with digital automation and analytical tools
• Strong knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
• Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
