The Fletcher Building Employee Educational Fund (EEF) is dedicated to supporting the education, development, and future success of Fletcher Building employees and their families through scholarships, grants and educational funding opportunities.

The EEF operates as a separate legal entity to Fletcher Building and is seeking an experienced and highly organised Fund Administration Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of this purpose-driven Trust. This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a varied role that combines governance, financial administration, stakeholder engagement and programme management.

About the Role

Engaged as an independent contractor, you will work directly with the Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for the effective administration and ongoing success of the Fund. As the primary point of contact, you'll work closely with employees, families, Trustees and internal stakeholders to ensure the EEF continues to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Key services to be provided include:

  • Managing the end-to-end administration of scholarships, grants and educational funding applications

  • Preparing Trustee meeting agendas, board papers, minutes and governance documentation

  • Ensuring compliance with Trust obligations, statutory requirements, and audit processes

  • Managing financial administration including budgeting, reconciliations, reporting and payment processing

  • Building strong relationships with Trustees, employees, families and external service providers

  • Providing guidance and support to applicants throughout the funding process

  • Maintaining the EEF’s website, digital resources and application systems

  • Promoting awareness of the Fund across Fletcher Building and identifying opportunities to enhance programmes and services

  • Maintaining accurate records, payroll eligibility data and confidential information

You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in Fund Administration, Trust Administration, Scheme Administration, Corporate Foundation Management or Senior Governance/Secretariat roles

  • Proven background managing end-to-end grant, scholarship, or application-driven funding processes.

  • Previous experience supporting Trustees, Boards, committees or governance functions

  • Strong financial administration, budgeting and reporting capability

  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills

  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement

  • Confidence working with systems, databases and digital platforms

  • A relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Administration or a related field is preferred

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping employees and their families access educational opportunities that support their growth and future success. You'll join a well-established Trust and enjoy a varied, autonomous independent contractor role where your contribution has a visible and lasting impact.
