Fund Administrator

We are recruiting a Fund Administrator for an initial three-month contract. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting several managed schemes across member administration, investment operations, compliance, reporting and data management.

This is not a traditional fund-accounting-only position. What matters most is your attention to detail, confidence with data and willingness to help wherever needed.

The role
Your responsibilities may include:

• Processing paper and electronic forms accurately
• Completing data entry and maintaining member and fund records
• Contacting members or external parties to obtain missing information
• Following up outstanding documentation and requests
• Supporting scheme and fund administration activities
• Helping the wider team with general administration and operational tasks

About you
You will ideally offer:

• Experience ideally but not exclusively in funds management, investments, superannuation, KiwiSaver or financial services
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and financial data
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Sound Word, Outlook and general systems capability
• An understanding of AML/CFT requirements is helpful but not essential
• Strong data-entry and records-management skills
• Clear, confident communication with members and external parties
• The ability to manage follow-ups and keep work progressing
• A practical, adaptable attitude and willingness to turn your hand to whatever is required

This role can be based in either Christchurch or Ashburton with Ashburton being the preference, however there is some flexibility around location and an expectation of being available on-site for part of the week.
