Fund Management Support Intern

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Fund Management Support Intern to join our team at UOB KAY HIAN (M) SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time internship that offers valuable hands-on experience in the fund management industry, providing exposure to investment operations, fund administration, and financial market processes. Applicants with a minimum availability of 3 to 6 months and who can join the internship programme in September will be preferred.

What you'll be doing

• Assist us on financial modelling for Global Dynamic Fund daily rebalancing deployment and documentation.
• Summarise regional research for Fund Product purposes and Malaysia Equity Selection.
• Help building other financial modelling if needed.
• Data Management and Reports compilation for mandate portfolios.
• Helping to document and send UWealth daily etc to advisors.
• Research process documentation.
• Daily market summary.
• Product and strategy research - ETF, Funds, Structure etc.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Available to commence the internship on September 2026
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment products is preferred
