Job Purpose
Our client is seeking an experienced, high-caliber Fund Operations Manager to take full operational ownership of their Private Fund operations and Fund Accounting functions. This role bridges strategic oversight, team leadership, and internal control refinement as the firm scales its institutional and corporate client footprint. You will work directly with the CEO, Fund Managers, IT, and external counterparties to elevate our operational standards.

- Review and approve daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, portfolio valuations, fee structures, and general accounting entries.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of cash positions, securities holdings, corporate actions, and transaction histories.
Stakeholder & Counterparty Management
- Act as the primary operational liaison for Fund Managers, Custodians, Brokers, Banks, and External Auditors.
- Oversee settlement flows, trade execution confirmations, and cash movements, ensuring strict compliance and zero settlement failures.
- Manage operational reporting and statements tailored to corporate and institutional client requirements.
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
- Continuously evaluate, redesign, and strengthen internal control frameworks, reducing manual work and risk exposure.
- Partner with the IT team to optimize internal proprietary systems and operational automation tools.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
Qualifications & Background

- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in NAV calculation logic, fund accounting standards, trade settlement workflows, and strong advanced Excel skills.
- Attributes: Proactive problem solver, high accountability, sharp detail orientation, and comfortable collaborating with senior management.
