About this Role
Are you an experienced Securitisation Manager, Structured Finance Manager or Funding Manager looking to take ownership of a significant asset-backed funding facility? As our Securitisation & Funding Manager, based at our Milton Keynes Head Office and reporting to the Group Treasurer, you will take day-to-day ownership of the facility once operational, combining detailed financial control with forward-looking funding analysis and senior stakeholder management.
- Own the day-to-day operation of Dawsongroup's asset-backed securitisation facility, covering borrowing-base calculations, asset eligibility, concentration limits, advance rates, covenants, triggers, utilisation and available headroom.
- Coordinate drawdowns, repayments, funding movements and changes to the underlying portfolio, while identifying emerging risks and escalating potential breaches with clear analysis and recommended actions.
- Deliver accurate contractual reporting to lenders, facility agents, trustees and investors, reconciling portfolio and asset-level data back to internal records and resolving discrepancies quickly.
- Forecast funding requirements and borrowing capacity using expected asset acquisitions, portfolio growth and asset mix, providing scenario analysis that supports wider Treasury and liquidity decisions.
- Act as the principal operational contact for external funding counterparties and work across Treasury, Finance, Technology, Legal, data and operational teams to keep information accurate, timely and decision-ready.
About You
This is a senior specialist appointment, so we are looking for someone who can bring credible, hands-on securitisation or asset-backed funding experience from day one, together with the technical depth to challenge data and protect financial control. You will be professionally qualified, highly analytical and comfortable taking independent ownership of a complex specialist area while explaining technical funding matters clearly to colleagues and external stakeholders.
- You will have direct experience of operating, managing or reporting against a securitisation, warehouse or comparable asset-backed funding facility, with strong knowledge of borrowing bases, eligibility, concentration limits, advance rates, covenants, triggers and facility headroom.
- A relevant professional qualification is required for this search, such as ACT, ACA, ACCA, FCCA, CIMA or another closely related finance or treasury qualification.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability is important, including the ability to analyse and reconcile large, complex datasets, establish robust controls and maintain clear audit trails.
- You will be credible working directly with banks, lenders, agents, trustees, lawyers, auditors and advisers, with experience producing external funding reports and working to contractual deadlines.
- Experience within equipment leasing, fleet, asset finance, receivables finance or another asset-intensive environment would be valuable, as would exposure to refinancing, structured debt transactions, facility amendments, ERP systems or automation.
About Us
Dawsongroup has been in business since 1935 and in asset rental since 1974, building a long-standing reputation around disciplined investment, strong customer relationships and smarter use of high-quality assets, while today operating under KKR ownership and retaining the values that have shaped the business over decades. Dawsongroup is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
- Our Head Office Treasury team supports a broad asset rental business, giving this role exposure to significant funding requirements, portfolio data and senior decision making across the Group.
- We believe in managing our business with integrity, owning our actions, working smarter and thinking bigger while maintaining strong financial controls and full legal compliance.
- Our asset-backed securitisation facility is expected to become operational during December 2026 or January 2027, with this role assuming responsibility after implementation rather than being accountable for establishing the facility.
- The position is a senior specialist role with no current direct reports, but it carries significant influence across Treasury, Finance and operational teams and requires confidence working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- You will join a business that continues to invest in its assets, people and funding capability, with an emphasis on sustainable growth, disciplined risk management and scalable processes.
About Your Future
This role gives you the opportunity to become the internal authority for an important funding facility and to shape how its reporting, controls, forecasting and processes develop as the business grows. You will also contribute to wider Treasury initiatives, future refinancing activity and the potential expansion of securitisation funding into other Business Units, giving you genuine scope to broaden your impact over time.
- Support future refinancing, extensions, amendments or upsizing of the facility, including analysis of pricing, advance rates, amortisation, eligibility requirements and covenants.
- Develop and improve facility models, reporting tools, reconciliations and controls, simplifying and automating recurring activity without weakening financial governance.
- Benefit from internal progression pathways, nationally and worldwide, funded training, long-term incentives and opportunities to build your career within a major asset rental business.
- Access 2x Life assurance scheme, Cycle to Work schemes, seasonal gifts, plus wellbeing and mental health support.
- 24 days standard leave allowance + Birthday + plus Bank Holidays + up to 10 days extra (time served and purchase scheme)
If you are ready to take ownership of a strategically important funding facility and want to build your future with a business that values technical expertise, strong judgement and people who make a difference, we would like to hear from you. Bring your experience, challenge our thinking and help us build the next stage of our funding capability, because our people are our greatest asset.
