Elect Capital

Funding Operations Coordinator
📍 London | Reporting to: Head of Credit Operations
About Elect Capital
Elect Capital is changing how SMEs access funding. We provide fast, flexible working capital loans, business loans, and merchant cash advances — no red tape, no slow decisions. Live across the UK, Australia, Canada, and the US, and scaling fast, we give SMEs the speed and flexibility traditional lenders can't.
🎯
Our Mission
We exist to give SMEs the capital and confidence to grow — fast, fair, and friction-free. Every ambitious business deserves a real shot at growth, not months of paperwork. We've built lending for speed, without cutting corners on fairness. When SMEs win, we win.
The Role
As our Funding Operations Coordinator, you'll sit at the heart of the journey from application to funding, working across Partnerships, Operations and our broker network to keep deals moving and clients over the moon. It's a varied, fast-paced role for someone who combines excellent organisation and meticulous attention to detail with the confidence to communicate with brokers, colleagues and leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Own a portfolio of operational sales-support activities, including settlement requests, funding updates, statements processing, and information gathering

Process settlement requests accurately and on time, chasing outstanding documentation where needed

Keep clients and brokers updated on funding status, proactively flagging delays or issues before they escalate

Act as a key conduit between broker partners, the Partnerships team and internal Operations, keeping stakeholders informed and helping remove avoidable blockers

Coordinate across multiple systems and workflows, ensuring information is logged correctly and nothing falls through the cracks

Flag process gaps or recurring issues to help the team continuously improve turnaround times

🔍
What We're Looking For

A strong work ethic and excellent time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once

Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, even when working at pace

Maturity to manage competing deadlines without dropping the ball

Comfortable learning new systems and adapting quickly as processes evolve

Confident, clear communicator — equally comfortable with brokers, colleagues and leadership

A proactive, ownership mindset — you spot issues and sort them rather than waiting to be told

Bonus

Experience in SME lending, financial services, fintech, broker support, sales operations or a similarly fast-paced funding environment

Our Offer

Salary: £30,000

25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

Private health insurance with AXA

Income protection

Life assurance

Statutory pension

Fully stocked snacks, drinks, and coffee machine

Monday lunch on us!
