Role Description The Fundraiser internship role at SmilingTears Foundation is a hybrid position based in New Delhi, with the flexibility for some work-from-home responsibilities. The intern will support fundraising campaigns by identifying potential donors, assisting in outreach, and maintaining donor databases. Daily tasks include drafting proposals, preparing presentations, coordinating events and online drives, and engaging with partners and supporters through email, phone, and social media. The intern will collaborate with program and communications teams to align fundraising messages with ongoing projects and impact stories. This role offers hands-on experience in non-profit fundraising and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Fundraising and donor relations skills, including outreach, relationship building, and basic proposal writing.
• Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and confidence in engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational and coordination skills, such as time management, event support, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
• Digital and research skills, including comfort with office productivity tools, social media for outreach, and researching prospective donors or partners.
• Interest in social impact, education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in New Delhi, collaborating with team members both in-person and remotely.
• Relevant academic background or coursework in social work, development studies, communications, business, or related fields is advantageous.
