Our campaigns support projects such as reforestation, mangrove restoration, and sustainable agriculture. Participating organizations can keep up to 80% of the funds they raise, helping them generate meaningful support for their teams and programs.

Your Mission

Build Plantd’s presence across New Jersey by introducing our fundraising platform to organizations that depend on community support.

You will connect with the people who lead these organizations, learn about their fundraising challenges, and show them how Plantd can help them reach their goals.

Your potential partners include:

● Youth sports leagues, travel teams, and athletic programs

● Public and private schools

● Coaches, athletic directors, and booster clubs

● PTO and PTA organizations

● Gymnastics facilities, dance studios, and fitness centers

● Nonprofits and community groups

● Municipal organizations and sustainability-focused groups

What the Job Actually Looks Like

This is a relationship-driven sales role. Some days you may be visiting a local school or meeting with a youth sports organization. Other days you may be following up with prospects, attending a community event, or helping a new partner get ready to launch a campaign.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Finding and connecting with qualified organizations throughout New Jersey

● Scheduling meetings through calls, emails, referrals, networking, and in-person outreach

● Presenting Plantd’s fundraising model to decision-makers

● Helping prospective partners understand their fundraising potential

● Moving opportunities from initial contact through signed agreement and campaign launch

● Maintaining accurate sales activity and customer information in HubSpot

● Building relationships that lead to repeat campaigns and referrals

● Representing Plantd at local events, tournaments, conferences, and community gatherings

● Working with the internal team to support a strong experience for every organization

● Meeting individual sales and revenue goals

Who Will Do Well Here

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and enjoys being part of a growing business.

● Have experience in outside sales, business development, fundraising, or account management

● Are comfortable starting conversations and asking for business

● Communicate well with coaches, school leaders, business owners, and nonprofit directors

● Know how to manage your schedule and stay organized without constant supervision

● Enjoy building relationships within your community

● Are competitive, coachable, and motivated by performance-based income

● Have connections within New Jersey schools, youth sports, nonprofits, or community organizations

● Believe fundraising should create meaningful value for both organizations and their supporters

Experience working with schools, youth sports leagues, fundraising companies, or community organizations is a plus.

Compensation

● Base salary: $40,000 annually

● Commission: Uncapped

● Estimated first-year earnings: $70,000–$175,000, depending on performance

Requirements

● Two or more years of sales, fundraising, or business development experience preferred

● Ability to travel throughout New Jersey for meetings and events

● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

● Comfort using a CRM, email, and standard sales tools

● Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
