A leading legal and advisory practice supporting fund sponsors, managers, and institutional investors is hiring for a Funds Knowledge & Innovation Attorney. This onsite role in Chicago, IL, is a permanent position focused on developing tools and processes to enhance fund formation, negotiations, and fund operations with a broad industry scope.

Funds Knowledge & Innovation Attorney Responsibilities :

• Develop and update comprehensive fund resources, including templates, legal documents, and checklists.
• Standardize workflows for fund setup, negotiations, and ongoing operations to ensure consistent practices.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of AI and legal tech tools to optimize document creation, disclosures, and compliance.
• Lead efforts to train teams on new workflows and technology adoption, creating training materials and demos.
• Measure and report on the efficiency gains and adoption rates of implemented tools and processes.

Funds Knowledge & Innovation Attorney Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor degree and active Illinois bar license.
• Over four years of experience in private funds, investment management, or related transactional work.
• Previous involvement with fund formation, investor negotiations, and fund operations preferred.
• Proven ability to partner with senior attorneys on process development and project management.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills with sound judgment in a collaborative environment.
