Funeral Attendant

Role Overview: This position supports funeral services by assisting with transportation, facility upkeep, and service coordination under the supervision of a licensed Funeral Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the funeral home (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Assist during funeral services and visitations, including greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, and managing transport and parking.
• Transport loved ones with care and professionalism.
• Support legal and administrative tasks related to funeral arrangements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in client relations, facilities maintenance, or related fields.
• Desire to pursue a career in mortuary science or end-of-life planning.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Strong focus and attention, with capability to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends.
