Funeral Director's Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director Assistant to join our team. This role requires a blend of professionalism, empathy, and ability to be a team player, to ensure that all aspects of funeral services are handled with care and respect.

Duties

• Be able to assist the care center by helping dress decease, transferring the decease to multiply locations and removal of the decease from place of death.
• Assisting the funeral director with conducting funerals on site, place of worship and graveside services.
• Maintain facilities and fleet of vehicles.
• Ability to answer phones in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for families.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize with grieving families
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to learn our computer system and general computer knowledge.
• A valid driver license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
