We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the operation of industrial furnaces to ensure efficient and safe processing of materials. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial furnaces, ensuring optimal temperature control and process consistency throughout production cycles
• Set up furnace equipment according to specifications, including calibrating temperature controls and loading materials safely
• Conduct routine inspections of furnace components, including thermocouples, burners, and refractory linings, to prevent malfunctions
• Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed during operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and process specifications to ensure accurate material handling and processing
• Perform quality inspections on finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools to verify adherence to specifications
• Maintain detailed logs of furnace operation parameters, maintenance activities, and safety checks for compliance purposes
• Assist with material handling tasks using cranes or forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading heavy items

Experience

• Proven experience operating industrial furnaces or in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat treatment processes
• Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, plasma cutting, press brake machines, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, welding, machining, and assembly is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for measuring dimensions and calculating process parameters accurately
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools for maintenance or adjustments
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and quality inspection techniques to ensure precision in finished products
• Ability to operate forklifts or cranes safely and efficiently when required
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to high-temperature equipment and manufacturing environments

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
