We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Furniture Factory Supervisor to join our team and oversee daily production operations within our furniture manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience in woodwork and furniture production, with the ability to supervise a production team, maintain quality standards, control material wastage, and ensure production targets are achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily furniture production activities.
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of carpenters, furniture makers, and machine operators.
• Oversee the production process from cutting and shaping through assembly, sanding, finishing, and final inspection.
• Ensure furniture is produced according to approved designs, measurements, and specifications.
• Monitor the use and maintenance of woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure finished products meet required standards.
• Identify and resolve production challenges, defects, delays, and material wastage.
• Monitor production targets, timelines, and staff productivity.
• Ensure proper use and storage of wood, MDF, plywood, fittings, and other materials.
• Enforce workshop safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Prepare regular reports on production progress, materials, equipment, and staff performance.
• REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years' experience in furniture manufacturing, carpentry, woodwork, or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising a furniture/woodwork production team.
• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and woodworking techniques.
• Good knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, materials, and finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret furniture designs, drawings, and measurements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Must be hands-on, disciplined, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious.
