GW Innovative Interiors is an established bespoke upholstery and furniture manufacturing business based in Sheffield.

Our expanding Frame Division specialises in manufacturing high-quality timber frames for sofas, chairs, banquette seating, headboards and bespoke furniture for the commercial and residential markets.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled and motivated Furniture Frame Assembler to join our growing team.

The Role

Working within our frame manufacturing workshop, you will be responsible for assembling timber furniture frames to a high standard, working from drawings, cutting lists and prepared timber components.

The role will involve both bespoke furniture production and larger repeat manufacturing orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling timber frames for sofas, chairs, benches and other upholstered furniture.
• Working from technical drawings, measurements and cutting lists.
• Using pneumatic nail guns, drills, screwdrivers, clamps and other woodworking tools.
• Gluing, screwing, dowelling and fixing timber components.
• Ensuring frames are accurately assembled, square, strong and ready for upholstery.
• Maintaining consistent quality and efficiency across repeat production runs.
• Working alongside our machinist and workshop manager to meet production schedules.
• Keeping a safe, tidy and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in furniture frame assembly, bench joinery, cabinet making or a similar woodworking environment.
• Confidence using hand tools and pneumatic assembly equipment.
• Good understanding of timber construction and fixing methods.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to maintain quality while working to production deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
