Furniture Frame Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Furniture Frame Engineer to join our innovative design and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing robust, aesthetically pleasing, and functional furniture frames that meet industry standards and client specifications. Your expertise will drive the creation of precise engineering drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation that ensure seamless production and assembly processes. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction and engineering drawings for furniture frames using CAD software such as AutoCAD, and Fusion 360.
• Create accurate 3D CAD models and schematics to visualize design concepts and facilitate manufacturing workflows.
• Collaborate with interior designers, product developers, and manufacturing teams to refine system designs that balance form, function, and durability.
• Prepare comprehensive construction detail documentation to guide fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
• Create nested CNC files as well as CAM data for a 4 axis CNC machining center.

Experience

• Proven experience in mechanical design or engineering CAD modeling within the furniture or construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), or Fusion 360.
• Prior involvement in furniture projects or manufacturing environments that require detailed technical schematics and system design expertise.
• Strong understanding of nesting and machining utilizing CNC's and woodworking methods.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
