Furniture Installer / Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furniture Installer / Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling, installing, and delivering furniture pieces while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Duties

• Assemble and install furniture pieces according to provided construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and other equipment safely and effectively during installation and warehouse tasks
• Load, unload, and organize furniture and materials within the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval
• Conduct quality checks on assembled furniture to ensure durability, safety, and aesthetic standards are met
• Assist with warehouse maintenance, including heavy lifting, cleaning, and organizing supplies and materials
• Follow safety protocols related to power tool safety, heavy lifting, and working on construction sites or residential environments
• Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications for various projects

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, fixture installation, door hanging, remodeling and other carpentry tasks
• Experience with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, trim carpentry components; familiarity with woodworking machines is a plus
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety and proper handling of heavy equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or installation processes
• Strong understanding of construction plans for various building components including drywall finishing and metal stud framing
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively with team members

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
