Outlier Design is a premium furniture and interior design studio dedicated to creating bespoke, high-quality pieces that elevate luxurious interiors. We specialize in contemporary and modern collections crafted with precision and style. We're currently expanding our design and production team and are looking for a skilled Furniture Draftsman to join us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings for custom furniture pieces using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar drafting software.
• Collaborate closely with our design team to translate design concepts into manufacturable technical drawings.
• Work with production teams to ensure accurate execution of furniture designs.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from design leads and factory inputs.
• Ensure all technical documentation meets quality, safety, and material specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture drafting, preferably with a premium or custom furniture brand.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Excellent understanding of furniture construction, materials, joinery, and production processes.
• Ability to interpret design briefs and visualize them in both 2D and 3D.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with high-end residential projects.
• Knowledge of CNC, modular detailing, or woodworking joinery.
• Basic understanding of materials such as wood, veneer, laminate, glass, and metal.
