Furniture/Project/Site Store Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store and inventory operations at the furniture factory/project/site.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming furniture materials, hardware, fittings, fabrics, wood, plywood, laminates, and other materials.
• Maintain proper records of material inward, outward, stock, and consumption.
• Issue materials to production/site teams as per approved requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate for timely material replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials to avoid damage or wastage.
• Maintain GRN, stock registers, material issue slips, and other store-related documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Project, and Accounts teams regarding material requirements and shortages.
• Track materials issued to different projects/sites and maintain project-wise stock records.
• Monitor movement of materials between the factory, warehouse, and project sites.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and security of the store area.
• Prepare regular inventory and stock reports for management.

Preferred candidate profile

• 57 years of relevant experience in Furniture / Interior / Manufacturing / Project Site Stores.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, fittings, fabrics, wood, plywood, MDF, laminates, etc.
• Experience in handling factory, warehouse, or project/site stores.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple material requirements and meet project timelines.
• Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing companies will be preferred.
