Future Operations Leader – Engineering & Manufacturing

Are you an engineering graduate or someone with factory-based engineering experience who wants to do more than sit behind a desk?

At AGB & Better Benchtops, we’re looking for a bright, practical and ambitious person to join our fast-growing Auckland manufacturing operation.

Working directly with our GM, you’ll apply your engineering knowledge to real-world challenges, help improve our factory and develop the skills to become a future Operations Manager and for the right person a future GM of one of our businesses.

What you’ll be doing

● Process improvement – Find smarter, more efficient ways to manufacture beautiful stone benchtops.

● Plant & equipment – Develop preventative maintenance systems and improve machinery reliability.

● Health & safety – Help build a safe, well-run factory.

● Leadership – Quickly learn to lead our young, proud and busy team.

● Operations – Develop the practical skills to help run a growing manufacturing business.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be someone who is:

● An engineering graduate, or a practical problem solver with relevant factory-based experience.

● Positive, energetic, organised and proactive and keen to learn and take on responsibility quickly.

● Interested in people, leadership and how a factory really works.

No specific engineering qualification is required — we’re looking for the right combination of knowledge, capability and attitude.

Your future is with us

Starting salary: $80,000. This will grow with responsibility.
