Futures Growth VP

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall strategy, P&L, and business performance of the Futures business, with accountability for trading volume, revenue, active users, and market competitiveness.
• Develop and execute global futures growth strategies to increase trading activity, user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue.
• Lead the overall development and optimization of futures products, including perpetual contracts, leverage, margin mechanisms, funding rates, fees, and trading rules.
• Analyze user trading behavior, market data, trading volume, positions, funding rates, and user lifecycle data to identify business opportunities and drive growth.
• Design and execute futures growth initiatives, including trading campaigns, competitions, incentive programs, VIP strategies, and user acquisition programs.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Marketing, BD, Operations, Listing, and Regional teams to ensure effective execution of business initiatives.
• Oversee futures liquidity and market quality, working closely with market makers and internal teams to optimize market depth, spreads, slippage, and overall trading experience.
• Establish and continuously improve risk management frameworks covering market risk, user risk, system risk, abnormal trading activities, and emergency response.
• Monitor global market trends, competitor strategies, product developments, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
• Establish comprehensive business dashboards and KPI frameworks, regularly review performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
• Build, manage, and develop the Futures organization, including business, operations, growth, and other relevant functions.
• Develop strong relationships with key market makers, institutional traders, ecosystem partners, and other strategic stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence and establish scalable processes to support the continued growth of the Futures business.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial markets, crypto, digital assets, trading platforms, fintech, or related industries.
• 5+ years of significant experience in crypto derivatives, futures, or perpetual contract businesses.
• Previous leadership experience managing a futures business, derivatives product, trading platform, or comparable large-scale business function.
• Deep understanding of perpetual futures, leverage, margin, funding rates, liquidation mechanisms, market making, and exchange trading infrastructure.
• Proven track record of managing business KPIs such as trading volume, revenue, active users, and user growth.
• Strong understanding of futures user behavior, trading strategies, market structure, and global crypto market dynamics.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to translate trading and user data into actionable business strategies.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience coordinating Product, Engineering, Risk, Marketing, BD, Operations, and regional teams.
• Experience working with market makers, institutional traders, VIP users, and key crypto ecosystem partners.
• Strong commercial judgment, strategic thinking, execution ability, and ownership mindset.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global, and highly competitive environment.
