FX Trader

Key Responsibilities

• FX/IR Position Squaring: Monitor the bank’s intra-day foreign exchange positions and execute interbank trades to "square" or hedge exposures, ensuring adherence to internal risk limits and SBV (State Bank of Vietnam) regulations.
• FX/IR Proprietary Trading Book Management (in the long run): conduct the proprietary trading of FX/IR products; demonstrate strong market instincts and quantitative skills, making timely and accurate trading decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Pricing & Sales Support: Provide competitive, real-time FX rate quotes (Spot, Forward, Swap, IRS, CCS) to FX Sales and Corporate to facilitate client transactions.
• Market Monitoring: Track global and local market trends, including the USD/VND central rate and interbank liquidity, to provide timely updates to the relevant stakeholders.
• Reporting: In charge of the relevant internal and external reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• University degree or above in Banking, Finance or Economics.
• At least 07 years of working experiences in the related department.
• Strong team work and communication skills.
• Able to work under high pressure.
• Good understanding of banking practices and regulations, products and services.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skill.
• Good command of English. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Financial market-related professional qualifications are a plus
