What they need
- Conduct inspection, testing, and evaluation of gadgets and electronic devices presented for appraisal.
- Assess the condition, specifications, functionality, and marketability of gadgets.
- Conduct market research to determine current market prices and acceptable valuation ranges.
- Maintain and regularly update the gadget pricing/basing list based on market trends.
- Verify model, specifications, serial numbers, and other relevant product details.
- Identify potential counterfeit, altered, defective, or suspicious gadgets and escalate findings when necessary.
- Recommend acceptable gadget brands, models, categories, and valuation guidelines for pawnshop operations.
- Coordinate with Branch Operation Specialists and other relevant personnel regarding gadget appraisal standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support in the evaluation of gadgets.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of appraisal references and market data.
- Recommend updates to appraisal procedures and acceptance policies based on market developments.
